Three Friends and an Idea
The idea of Union Organics was born when three childhood friends, a chartered accountant, an engineer and an agriculture expert, came together in search of chemical free fruits and vegetables. To their surprise, majority of the food available in the market was grown by conventional farmers that used heavy doses of synthetic fertilizers. Being an agriculture specialist, Sachin decided to grow fruits and vegetables for close family and friends on his small experimental farm using only 100% organic agriculture inputs. It was fascinating to witness that without using any “super fertilizers” made up of toxic chemicals, it was practically possible as well as more cost effective to grow fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables using only organic agriculture inputs.
The Idea Became a Vision
After getting remarkable success on their experimental farm, they started talking to farmers in nearby villages about the harms of using synthetic fertilizers. Once farmers found out about serious consequences of using toxic chemicals for the soil, environment and well-being of their own children, they became eagerly interested about possible organic alternatives. There were a few farmers who were already aware of organic alternatives, but they were not willing to use them because of their high prices. Some farmers chose not to use organic agriculture inputs simply because they generated results at a much slower rate compared to chemical alternatives. To address all these issues, Union Organics was born with an aim to empower, educate and inspire farmers to produce chemical free organic crops by equipping them with sustainable, cost effective and eco-friendly agriculture solutions that are beneficial for the environment, the consumers and the farmers.

After more than five years of research, Union Organics has successfully come up with internationally patented 100% organic agriculture inputs that can significantly enhance the quality of crops as well as the soil in a completely natural way. Till date, we have provided innovative agriculture solutions to thousands of farmers in India and across the globe. Suitable for a wide range of crops in different weather conditions across India, all of our products are thoroughly tested at our experimental fields as well as in our state of the art research laboratory to meet our strict quality control requirements. As a leader in organic farming industry, Union Organics has also initiated many innovative programs for the local community such as “Free Training Programs” for farmers and consumers; “Organic Farming Seminars” for conventional farmers who wish to practically learn about organic farming; “Reconnecting with Nature Programs” for school kids and college students who wish to understand the basics of farming.
